Meet NxTrek's Team of Expert Guides
At our core, we are seasoned business leaders who partner with you throughout your journey - whether overcoming a rough patch or making your best even better.
Those who know us have heard us say:
"NxTrek has no respect for advice that is theoretically priceless but practically worthless. All guidance must be actionable and result in tangible performance gains. Any other measure of success is hollow."
We call ourselves guides for a reason - we don't write reports and give advice from an ivory tower. It takes experience from people who have held C-level and ownership roles to know what works in the real world.
NxTrek Guides go with you on the trail, getting "muddied and bloodied" alongside you as we navigate through every challenge and milestone in your company.

Network of Trusted Advisors
Whether you need a recommendation for a brand new relationship or would like a second opinion on your current situation, we keep tabs on the most competent, credible, and trusted advisors to business owners across a variety of disciplines (listed below).
NxTrek works in collaboration and not competition with the team of advisors that fuel every successful business. Perhaps most importantly, we diligently maintain a holistic picture of our clients and their goals so that each domain advisor (i.e. tax & legal) is complementing one another.
It has been our experience that, with no malicious intent, advisors tend to optimize to their own area of expertise, which sometimes comes at the detriment of another discipline.
Example of Advisor Tunnel Vision
A business owner's estate attorney had done a great job protecting all their assets in trusts and similar structures before the sale of their business (that's good!). However, when the business owner went to their longtime banker to get financing for a trophy (imagine a boat, plane, beach house - whatever fits in your dream), the banker informed them that the bank could not lend against any of their substantial assets… because they had all been placed into trusts. This particular situation is fixable with time and expense, but is also avoidable - and just one situation among many that can arise.
The root cause is usually the same: not enough communication. While most private company owners bear the burden of this "coordination tax" across their professional advisors by default, it's simply not efficient.
The highest and best use of time for owners of private companies is running their business.
Most company owners are only going to grow and sell their business once, which means it's difficult to know "what good looks like" or even what questions to ask of specialty advisors who have spent an entire career in their domain.
That's why several NxTrek clients have chosen to retain us as their "general contractors" to oversee and shepherd the team of professional advisors around them toward their individual definition of success. If this pain sounds familiar or we've piqued your interest with our unique approach, schedule a free consultation with us.
